Jury work is curated future

I often ask myself: What ideas are actually shaping our shared future – and why these in particular?

Because that’s precisely what it’s all about when we sit on juries and award prizes. We’re not just voting on what’s good, but also on which perspectives we want to make visible and what kind of impetus we want to provide as an industry.

I’m all the more delighted that I’ve been selected for the ADC jury again this year – this time in Editorial / Publications Print & Digital. For me, jury work is an honorary position that can’t be done “on the side.” It demands conviction, curiosity, and a willingness to engage in genuine discussions. Especially now, when we creatives are called upon more than ever to build connections instead of widening divides. (Incidentally, I believe we have to give it our all.) I’m looking forward to the inspiring works, the debates, the surprising perspectives, and the energetic sessions with my fantastic colleagues. 💛
