The path to a 1.5°C economy requires a new form of communication: more than just declarations of intent – it needs communication that moves people, shapes culture and writes new stories of change. With the motto “Nur kühl ist coool” (only cool is cool), we have set out to fulfill this mission. Our approach? Positive narratives and strong images that get out of the defensive corner, that instead of using the green paintbrush, dare to be transparent, focus on the opportunities and inspire action. After two years of development, learning, growth, impact and award-winning projects – most notably the German Design Award 2024 – we would like to take this moment to say thank you – to you, our community, who have taken every step with us on this exciting journey. From our vision of becoming the leading agency for climate communication, with new clients who, like us, want to be pioneers, to the expansion of our unique team – now more than 25 freelance creatives and partners, the best in their field, spread from Stuttgart to Cape Town.

That’s why we are particularly pleased about the Marketing For Future Award, presented by the BAM! Bock Auf Morgen Festival for “What’s your FOODprint?” – the case for the FOOD2050 nutrition system.

Brenntag has made a name for itself by demonstrating how sustainable product innovations can boost performance. We were able to support the company in its communications at the Capital Markets Day 2023 in London. We find this particularly exciting because sustainable change is especially relevant in a material world that is heavily influenced by fossil raw materials.

No company can afford to have no response to climate change.

How do you start communicating about climate change successfully?

We have intensively addressed the question of how a company can approach the topic of climate communication in a targeted way. Very often, the first task was to ask: Where do we actually stand? How are we currently positioned, where do our strengths and weaknesses lie, what is our potential? And then: Where can we start? Who do we need at the table to do this?

For this, we have developed a professional analysis concept that is unique on the market in this form: the Climate Communication Check, powered by AI. This gives companies an optimal starting position that provides them with everything they need to take the right path from a reliable basis. And in a very concrete way: strategically, in terms of content, creatively – from quick wins to high-effort, high-impact measures. A report that puts you in a good mood: barrier-free in a responsive online format with background knowledge and inspiration.
